61/111. That's a long time. 50 days left. Approximately 7 weeks. Still hard to believe it has flown by that fast. It was a good day. But not much interesting to write.

Internet was pretty cooperative so I got some work done. Then I treated myself to a very long workout. I'm training for 2 half-marathons I'll do within 3 weeks of returning from the cruise. Why? Because I did 2 such races in my 30s, 2 in my 40s ( including the Disney 1/2 marathon) and I committed to do 2 in my 50s.....that's about 3 weeks after we get back. And as you guessed, I've done none in the 9 years 11.9 months since I turned 50. So the pressure is on. I ran 8 miles in 1.75 hrs. Not great but ok for an almost 60 year old. It will get better with training. My legs feel it today

I had a light breakfast and skipped lunch entirely as I was still full from yesterday's meal in chinatown. So dinner was no-holds-bar. Not that I went crazy, salmon again.

I guess the big news is I bought a new wedding ring today. The ship's store had a sale and I didn't like my current ring I've had since 2017. My original one I came to dislike because it had one right way to face up and of course it constantly rotated. So I said the next ring wouldn't have that issue. But the new matching rings we got in Mikonos, Greece while on a cruise had a different issue. They were/are very intricate and therefore get ridiculously dirty due to the woodworking/painting I do. So I said the next ring can't have either issue. I think I lucked out this time. It's that tungsten material....and it was only $20.

It can rotate and it won't get dirty.

Tomorrow we're in Malaysia, and really looking forward to an easy port day. The town is right off the ship, and there's lots to do! Till then.
