Since we docked in Malaysia, followed by Thailand, Dubai and Oman, most everyone on the ship has a new wardrobe. Not just any wardrobe, local Asian and middle eastern garb. I thought that my wife and I were the exception but apparently not. Last night was a formal night and so folks ditched the tuxedos and evening gowns in favor of their new and amazingly interesting threads. This is my buddy Kevin.

Then there's this beautiful gown purchased in Dubai.

While I don't have many more pictures of other passengers in local garb, trust me, about 1/3 of this ship has been wearing clothing they got in the last few ports. It's such a conversation point for all of us. The popular animal prints are elephants (trunk up) and camels. But this is "no holds barred" environment, so we've seen quite a variation in new attire.
Or......it's just old people having fun.
Today was the first of 5 sea days before we reach Jordan. It's day 73 of 111, so 38 more days. Can't believe how the time has flown by. So much "life" condensed into such a short time. It's surreal.
No major updates otherwise. Little work, little cards, little relaxation. Didn't work out today. Only the second sea day I didn't. I've gained a kilo or 2.2 lbs over 73 days and I would contend alcohol has a lot to do with it. About 2 years ago, when I gave up drinking for 6 months related to the Wondr weight loss program, I dropped 25 lbs practically overnight. So my goal is to enjoy the cruise to the fullest while roughly maintaining my weight and then resume Wondr when I get home.
Till tomorrow....the blog title of which will be travelers vs tourists.
