Since entering the Mediterranean, the weather has been seasonably cool, low 60's with wind midday, cooler in the morning and evening. The temperature is still above my age so I can't complain about that, but it isn't shorts weather any longer; I'm having trouble adjusting. In my mind, we were skipping winter altogether, so I guess I was wrong. We'll be in the north Aegean for a few days and it may stay cool. Then as we come around the tip of Greece into the north Mediterranean, we may continue with the cooler weather. I suspect by the time we get to Malaga, Spain, we'll be back to shorts weather till we arrive in ft Lauderdale. That will make me happy.

But it does change the atmosphere of the ship. The Lido deck is empty vs sprawling with sunbathers, swimmers, icy drinks and all the camaraderie that goes along with it. Some Guests are wearing sweatpants and sweatshirts. That's probably good for some considering we're 80+ days into buffetitis (a swelling of the midsection from excessive meals and between-meal snacks AND between-between-meal snacks). Enough said 😀

Things that made me happy today?

Our friends Hasida and Ference rejoined the cruise after 10 days in Israel. It was great to see them again.

I had the best rack of lamb of the cruise thus far. It was outstanding.

The show today was also the best show yet...acrobats...on a ship...that's rocking a lot today. Risky business, but they were great. Pics below

Tomorrow is Ephesus, Turkey. We are really looking forward to it!!!

Hasta manana.
