A rose by any other name....

Though this blog started out for just about 60 friends and family, someone on Cruise Critic found it and posted it there so now I have over 5000 views. Hard to believe. I guess I'm officially a blogger now. And as a blogger, I try to appeal to as many people as I can.

This particular blog is about all the interesting flora we've encountered on our trip so far. I like taking pics of different flowers and bushes because they help reset the eye as you scroll through 100s, maybe 1000s, of pictures of a trip like this. Swipe swipe swipe, swipe, swipe, flower pic reset, swipe swipe... you get the picture 😉.

So here is an accumulation of the best ones thus far. Please don't ask me to name them, I'm just the photographer.

Pretty amazing. It's so interesting to see them all side by side, most different than anything I've seen in the US.

Tomorrow's another sea day and I'll be featuring my wife's artwork created on board. They have great art classes and they are incredibly popular!! So stay tuned for that.

As for today, I organized all this pics I've taken so far. Hard to believe I've taken a net of 1300 photos in 49 days. And that's net of all the photos I deleted because of some issue, usually lighting. I did work and then a 2hr workout, 9 miles of a walk/run. Then 30min in the sauna with a retired dentist we run into a lot. I've been good at cutting down the quantity of both food and alcohol, resulting in me getting back to the weight I was when we got on the ship, so that's a win. Weight maintenance is tough, really tough, on a cruise.

Now we're at the evening show, a great singer....so I should stay awake. At least I hope so. Till tomorrow....
